Tim Shaw is an award winning journalist with 25 years working in the Australian and international media as a host, presenter, commentator, producer, MC and keynote speaker.

He served as a member of the federal parliamentary press gallery and a board member and director of The National Press Club of Australia for six years.

He has appeared on all commercial television networks in Australia and on current affairs programs such as the Seven Network’s Today Tonight and My Business Programs. Tim was the Thailand based foreign correspondent for the Seven Network Australia as a senior journalist.

He studied a BA in media with a major in Indigenous cultural studies at Macquarie University in Sydney; a foundation student of the Macquarie University Indigenous Studies Program.

An accomplished radio broadcaster, Tim has hosted radio programs in Australia and internationally since 1995. Guests have included Prime Ministers, ministers and the opposition spokespersons, key players in business, the arts, science, technology, culture and lifestyle.

He was a Sydney New South Wales 2000 team member at the Sydney Media Centre, Darling Island during the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games coordinating radio, print & TV media to a global audience. Tim is also proud to be an Australia Day Ambassador for the Australia Day Council since 1995.
